NANO Nuclear Energy Inc. (NASDAQ: NNE), a leading company in advanced nuclear energy and technology, has secured a 1.64-acre property in the historic Heritage Center Industrial Park in Oak Ridge, Tennessee, marking a significant milestone in the company’s journey toward advancing portable clean energy solutions. This $1.71 million acquisition includes a 14,000 sq. ft., two-story building that will serve as NANO Nuclear’s Nuclear Technology Headquarters.

Situated in a world-renowned hub for nuclear innovation, the new facility is strategically positioned near Oak Ridge National Laboratory, the Spallation Neutron Source, the National Transportation Research Center, and The University of Tennessee’s Center of Excellence in Engineering. This proximity to key research institutions will allow NANO Nuclear to enhance its design, engineering, and regulatory licensing capabilities.

The Heritage Center, once a pivotal site during World War II as part of the Manhattan Project, has a storied past in supporting nuclear advancements. NANO Nuclear’s decision to establish its headquarters in this historically significant location underscores the company’s commitment to continuing America’s nuclear innovation tradition. The facility is expected to employ up to 30 personnel as NANO Nuclear expands its operations and advances its proprietary microreactor technologies, including the “ZEUS” solid core battery reactor and the “ODIN” low-pressure coolant reactor.
